R. Bryan Grinnan Award

We are now accepting nominations for the 2025 R. Bryan Grinnan, M.D. Memorial Research Award!

The prestigious R. Bryan Grinnan, M.D. Memorial Research Award, established in 1991 in honor of the founder and president of the Hampton Roads American Heart Association board, honors an outstanding individual who has served to make our Hampton Roads community a better place through their investment of time and/or a financial contribution in support of heart and brain health.

Please use this form to nominate an individual working in either the field of cardiovascular disease or stroke/brain health. The Hampton Roads American Heart Association Board will select the Grinnan Award recipient from the overall group of nominees. The award recipient will be announced and presented with the Grinnan Award, at the 2025 Hampton Roads Heart Ball.

In addition, all the nominees will be recognized during the program and on social media.

Nominations for the R. Bryan Grinnan, M.D. Memorial Research Award can be submitted by friends, co-workers or relatives, and individuals can nominate themselves.
